Hi, it is Shine!
I am a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM), where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production with a minor in Media Arts. My academic journey provided me with a comprehensive foundation in visual storytelling, allowing me to explore diverse disciplines such as film, photography, animation, vector graphics, theatrical stage design and makeup for film and theater.
While my formal education focused on motion pictures, my current work takes an interdisciplinary approach, integrating film, photography and mixed media to explore the complexities of human connection, social issues and cultural identity. I believe that blending different forms of media allows for a richer, more nuanced expressions. I aim to reveal the subtle stories that connect people across different cultures and lived experiences.
When I am not working on digital media projects, I enjoy baking and decorating cakes, a creative outlet that allows me to express artistry in a different form.
